Great interview. Very thought provoking. What are some technologies that might better support work from home? Say that we moved lots of light manufacturing into the home, by making certain industrial machines safer and less noisy; or by having more modular designs for sewing machines, cars, microwaves, and so on, where more parts can be made with 3D printers, laser cutters, and other home friendly machines. Would this be enough to bring us back to replacement?
